I really want to read We Shall See Him as He Is, but its way too expensive to buy right now, and I don't know anyone I can borrow it from, so regretfully, I am replacing that selection with something else.....

or
The Ascetic of Love by Nun Gavrilia

I loved them both. Mother Thaisia's book is very still and Mother Gavrilia's is full of movement. I liked Mother Thaisia best because it's part of a world that has completely vanished but, in another way, I liked Mother Gavrilia for being so "modern". She trains as a physiotherapist and she goes to India to help lepers - people are still doing that.
